Alor Setar, 16th – In a disturbing trend, online casino Malaysia syndicates are enticing Muslim women with high salaries, prompting them to join as online gambling agents and blatantly defy the law in pursuit of substantial daily wages.
The involvement of Muslim women in running online casino Malaysia operations is a growing concern. In the past year alone, Kedah police apprehended 370 Malay women working as online casino Malaysia agents. The figures for this year are equally worrisome, with 63 individuals arrested thus far.
According to the police, these Malay women knowingly choose to become online casino Malaysia agents, despite the risk of arrest, enticed by the promise of lucrative daily earnings.
Kedah Police Chief, Datuk Fisol, highlighted that although Islam strictly prohibits Muslims from engaging in gambling activities, a majority of the gambling cases in the state involve Malays.
“Many Muslim women opt to work as online casino Malaysia agents due to the allure of high daily wages,” expressed Datuk Fisol during a press conference held at Jizhou Police Headquarters today.
He also expressed agreement with Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasudian’s proposition to introduce amendments to the law in Parliament, aiming to combat the issue of online gambling.
Lamenting the prevalence of traditional gambling practices despite the rising popularity of online casino Malaysia, Datuk Fisol emphasized the need for concerted efforts to address the issue at its core.
The surge in Muslim women being lured into the online casino Malaysia industry has raised concerns within the community and sparked calls for stricter measures to curb this troubling trend. With the proposed amendments to the law, authorities aim to bolster their fight against online casino Malaysia and safeguard individuals from the perils of this illicit activity.
As the battle against online casino Malaysia intensifies, law enforcement agencies continue to urge the public, especially Muslim women, to remain vigilant and resist the allure of quick financial gains that come at the expense of breaking the law.
